Dying is Part of Life
Dying happens. To all of us.
Yes, it can be sad and messy and powerful and hard and normal and absurd and everything in between.
Because dying is part of life.
So many of us think of life and death as two separate things but it doesn’t have to be that way. In fact, the two are very much connected.
What if the things we cherish most in life were the same things we carry with us toward death? Those moments that make us feel awake. Loved. Human. What if we could live our lives – fully – all the way to the end?
ARCH Hospice and many others are exploring how we might provide the best care possible and design a better experience, for everyone. And we'd like you to join us.
We believe it starts with being open to the idea of discussing death. Challenging yourself to look at it, and shine your own light on it. If you could choose one thing about your own death, what would it be?
ARCH Hospice is a compassionate non-profit charity with a huge heart. We want to foster open dialogue about quality in death and dying. We believe that dying is sacred, mysterious and a natural part of life. This allows us to be fully present with each individual. We believe that better caregiving happens through networks of inspired people and organizations working together.
With our history of successful collaboration with hospice and palliative care, we draw from our collective heritage to serve the community.
If you'd like to get involved, help us grow, explore what could be, or simply add your voice to the conversation, we welcome you.
