HIAWATHA FALL MOONLIGHT WALK

Unfortunately, due to the provinces new COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, we’ve had to work with the Kinsmen Club to make further changes to this year’s Hiawatha Fall Moonlight Walk. This year's event will be virtual! We are working with the Soup Witch to give all ticket purchasers a mason jar of homemade soup that they can eat in or take out! All ticket purchasers have been notified via email regarding the change.

We encourage all event participants to go out throughout this beautiful fall and enjoy the trails at Hiawatha in the Kinsmen Park while ensuring Algoma Public Health safety measures regarding social distancing and limiting outdoor public gathering to under 25 people. There will be no formal date for the event this year, as it will be safest if people enjoy their fall walks throughout the following weeks.

Thank you to all of our supporters for your help and understanding at this difficult time - it’s not easy navigating these pandemic waters and trying to raise funds for Hospice while adapting to public health guidelines. We appreciate working with this great community, to provide free, quality, compassionate end-of-life care to local residents. Supporters like you made it possible to serve nearly 100 residents and their families with residential Hospice care, and hundreds more with grief support and counselling services over this past 6 months. We couldn’t do it without you.
