Our Team

At ARCH Hospice we are proud to have a caring team of staff, physicians and volunteers. Our physicians and nursing staff work closely with a team of other professionals and volunteers to care for our residents, 24 hours a day. 

Care Team

Our Care Team is comprised of Nurses, Personal Support Workers, Physicians, and a Nurse Practitioner. Alongside volunteers, our team creates a supporting environment for our residents and their families. Recognizing the importance of self-care and ongoing learning, we all participate in annual training and wellness activities that continue to develop our skills.

Leadership Team

Our Leadership Team oversees various areas including supportive care, grief and bereavement services, administration, fundraising, building maintenance and day-to-day operations. The leadership team supports the care the community has come to expect and deserve.

Christianne Monico

Executive Director

ARCH is pleased to welcome Christianne Monico as its new Executive Director. Christianne comes to us with a career spanning more than 25 years; including acute care and community nursing (Oncology, Renal, Palliative Care, Home Care and Specialty Palliative Care Coordination).  Christianne has over two decades of a variety of Leadership experiences; including Supervisory to Middle to Senior Team Management; and most recently, having served as the CEO for THRIVE Child Development Centre. In addition to Christianne's front-line Nursing, Care Coordination and varying levels of Managerial experience in Palliative Care, she has also held the Canadian Nurses' Association - Hospice Palliative Care Certification (CHPCN) for 5 years, taught sessions of the Fundamentals of Palliative Care, briefly served as the regional Network Director and also sat on the Ontario Palliative Care Network. Most importantly, we look forward to Christianne joining the ARCH team due to her passion for supportive end-of-life care and her compassionate nature.

Nicole Pearce

Manager of Operations

Nicole is a longtime member of the ARCH team - she started as a volunteer at the hospice the first year ARCH opened its doors. Working with staff and volunteers, Nicole oversees finances, office administration and maintenance. You can catch her anywhere from the office to the boiler rooms, staining the building, or even fixing someone's laptop. A true jill-of-all-trades, she is a true master of organization and a calm multitasker. She is responsible for ensuring all internal ARCH operations run smoothly. She is an avid runner and has a love of fishing and traditional archery.

Kelly Leith

Clinical Care Lead

Kelly joined the ARCH team in 2017 as a Registered Nurse and now serves as the Clinical Care Lead. This role allows her to work alongside the care team to support them and deliver the best possible care to our residents. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013. A majority of her experience stems from working at Sault Area Hospital on a Medical Unit as well as working closely with Palliative/Oncology patients throughout the hospital. Kelly finds great comfort in providing quality, compassionate care through end-of-life to both our residents and families. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children as well as her close group of friends.

Laura Fryia

Intake & Accreditation Lead

As Intake Coordinator, Laura is typically the first point of contact for many of our residents and their families, long before they arrive at ARCH. As a Registered Nurse for more than 29 years, Laura has an incredibly gentle and nurturing nature that allows her to delicately deal with demanding situations. 

Julie Premo

Manager of Training & Coordination 

Julie is responsible for coordinating the roles of more than 140 of our amazing volunteers, managing the kitchen and housekeeping, as well as coordinating exterior maintenance of our facility. Julie is passionate about people, relationships, spirituality and wellness, as well as multitasking and coordinating logistics. At ARCH, Julie appreciates having the opportunity to learn from residents and to help fulfill their wishes. Having spent the last 20 years as a dental hygienist, Julie is a proud mom of three beautiful children, and enjoys hiking, volleyball and yoga. 

Lee Rendell

Manager of Fund Development

Lee brings a decade of collective experience in marketing and fundraising for non-profits. With a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, majoring in Marketing, she brings a business-savvy but personable approach. A part of the ARCH team since 2012, Lee is responsible for raising the $750,000 in community support ARCH Hospice requires each year. This includes donor relations, events, marketing, communications, as well as developing organizational partnerships. She is passionate about creativity, trying new things, efficiency, and people. In her spare time, Lee enjoys camping with her two dogs and husband, travel, blues music, playing hockey and is a self-professed "sci-fi geek addicted to coffee".

Katherine Williamson

Events Coordinator

Having begun her time at ARCH as the Marketing and Events Associate in 2016, Katherine has moved into the role of Events Coordinator. She plays an important role in the planning and execution of all the events ARCH holds and provides direction and support to many of the third party event organizers who graciously plan events to raise funds for ARCH. With a background in Public Relations and Event Management, Katherine has a knack for building and fostering relationships with our donors, community partners, residents families and volunteers. With 2 golden retrievers at home, Katherine is a proud, self-proclaimed “crazy dog lady”.

Miranda Leonard

Marketing & Events Associate

Miranda has a passion for all things creative. She brings years of academic and professional experience to ARCH with her background in both graphic design and visual arts. Her role at Hospice reflects her skills as she has the privilege of developing the graphics and visual identities that represent events and other ARCH-related media. Miranda works with the Fund Development Team to establish event/fundraising concepts and acquire resources to best serve the residents. Aside from her love of art and design, Miranda expresses herself through music and dance. She values spending quality time with her loved ones and believes that every day provides an opportunity for self-improvement and growth.

Natasha Rinaldi

Manager of Supportive Care

Natasha is the manager of Supportive Care and our Registered Social Worker on staff. She holds a certificate in grief and loss counselling and is currently pursuing her Masters of Counselling Psychology degree with Yorkville University. Natasha connects with the humanistic approach, believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship, as well as empathetic responding in her work at Hospice. She is a listener, is patient, and is present, and these three things combined have had a powerful impact on those she comes in contact with. Her role includes supporting residents and family members through a psycho-social-spiritual approach, as well as facilitating grief and bereavement groups and individual counselling sessions.  Natasha’s repertoire is unique and vast where she combines her gentle style with her training in Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, and Mindfulness. In her spare time, you will find Natasha teaching or taking a yoga class, running the many landscapes of our beautiful community, and spending time with her two nieces. 

Jenna Polutanovich

Community Engagement Coordinator

Meet Jenna! She is ARCH’s Child and Youth Worker on staff. Jenna brings years of training and experience working with children and youth. She offers grief support to children and youth in the community, including; one-on-one sessions using therapeutic use of play, PD Day Grief Camps, and Grief Support Groups. You can usually find Jenna in the playroom at ARCH. Jenna’s role also includes: supporting residents and family members emotionally, fulfilling final wishes, and doing legacy building with residents. Jenna is a dance teacher and incorporates her knowledge of movement and dance through an expression of emotions. You might even see her dancing in the hallway! In her spare time Jenna loves being with family and friends and enjoys camping, music, and nature.​

Lisa Chandler

Early Resource Nurse Coordinator

Lisa's compassionate and outgoing personality is evident in her role as Nurse Coordinator with the ARCH Connect Team. With a passion for palliative care, she finds it incredibly gratifying to be able to offer quality, end-of-life care to those who are living their final moments. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010, Lisa has spent the last 8 years as a Registered Nurse, primarily in-home and community care. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, is married, and is the proud mom of two lovable dogs. 

Alisha Kreutzweiser

Early Resource Nurse Coordinator

Alisha is a Nurse Coordinator with ARCH Connect. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2010. Prior to coming to ARCH she practiced as a Registered Nurse at Sault Area Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit, Emergency department, Cardiac Catheterization lab and Medical-Surgical units, where she gained a vast experience in palliative care. She has a passion for people and looks forward to being a part of your journey. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Dan and her two children, Grayson and Emma. They enjoy hiking, camping, biking and spending quality time together.
